PMA Composite Rod (NI+WC)

Rankin PMA’s Composite Rod is used primarily in the oil drilling and exploration industries on stabilizers, fishing tools, and drill bits. It is also used in the mining and geothermal industries. It contains coarse tungsten carbide particles in a nickel chromium matrix providing high tensile strength and maintains integrity up to 1,000 degrees F.  Can be applied by oxyacetylene or TIG processes. Processes for manufacturing all Rankin PMA products are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Composite rods are 5/16″ diameter and 18″ long – sold in 5 lb. packages
